Manufacturer receives national group purchasing agreement
Adhezion Biomedical has been awarded a national group purchasing agreement with Premier.
The agreement which comes into effect on 1st September 2020 is available to acute care and continuum of care members of the Premier healthcare alliance. The contract will remain in effect for three years.
Adhezion Biomedical, a privately held medical device manufacturer that develops and manufactures cyanoacrylate adhesives for surgical, infection prevention and wound management applications, was awarded the contract in the IV Catheter Securement category for its SecurePortIV Catheter Securement Adhesive product.
SecurePortIV is an FDA-cleared liquid adhesive that secures the catheter and seals the insertion site reducing catheter movement, migration and dislodgement, while protecting the insertion site from leaking and external contamination.

Currently Premier serves around 4,000 hospitals and health systems within America, and more than 175,00 other healthcare sites.
