Video Demonstration of the Pneumatic Venturi Cutter Bushings

Cutting micro extruded tubing can be difficult because it has a tendency to hang up in the cutter bushings. This is especially the case for soft and tacky micro extruded polyurethanes and low durometer Pebax polymers. A pneumatic venturi system located within the upstream cutter bushings can be used to blow the product away from the bushings. The use of pneumatic cutter bushings combined with a bushing lubrication system will result in reduced bushing drag and increased cut length repeatability. Source: American Kuhne.
