As an innovator in critical cleaning, lubrication, and coating technologies, MicroCare Medical will showcase its solutions for optimising medical device production and performance at booth #2639.

In the spotlight will be Duraglide Dry Lubricant. Formulated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), it is engineered to eliminate stiction and provide smoother actuation in devices like catheters, surgical tools, and hypo tubes. Duraglide Dry Lubricant accelerates medical device assembly and mitigates friction on moving parts, leading to a substantial reduction in actuation forces, up to 30%. Furthermore, it meets rigorous sterilisation standards, is ISO 10993 tested and certified, and offers versatile packaging options for added convenience.

The MicroCare Medical team of experts will be on-hand during MD&M Minneapolis to present the company’s impressive line of medical products and how to use them in more detail. This will include their range of carrier fluids and swelling agents like Swellex engineered to address the challenge of joining tight-fitting tubing to rigid moulded parts and barbed fittings.

"At MicroCare Medical, our focus on innovation drives us to design solutions that enhance medical device manufacturing processes," says David Ferguson, MicroCare commercial sales manager, precision cleaning. "We leverage decades of critical cleaning expertise to provide custom-engineered solutions that meet our clients' exacting requirements. Our solutions help manufacturers improve production efficiency, device reliability, and cost-effectiveness. We look forward to demonstrating our innovative fluids at MD&M Minneapolis and showing how our innovative approach to precision cleaning, coating, lubrication and disinfection can help manufacturers improve yields, quality, and regulatory compliance."
