MicroCare launches Sticklers Pro360 Touchless Connector cleaner

The Sticklers Pro360 Touchless Cleaner is a hand-held dispensing wand that delivers a micro-dose of atomised, high-purity cleaning fluid within a narrow column of pressurised air onto a fibre optic connector end face.

The contamination is carried away from the end face with the cleaning fluid during the drying process. The end face is left clean and dry after one 3.5 second cycle. 

Compact and portable, the Sticklers Pro360 Touchless Cleaner travels anywhere. It can be used for FTTH, FTTA and data centre applications as well as on connectors used in aviation, naval, and military applications.  

The cleaning fluid is classified as non-hazardous and non-regulated for transport by air, sea and ground. Containing less than three fluid ounces, the Sticklers Pro360 cleaning fluid cartridge can be carried through airport security screening. 

The Sticklers Pro 360 Touchless Cleaner currently includes adapters to clean 1.25mm and 2.5mm connectors to start. The offering will expand with 1.6mm for military; 2.0mm for broadband; MPO/MTP in various fibre counts and Hi Density (SN, CS, MDC, MMC-VSFF) in the future.   

The device provides up to 2,700 contactless cleans per each hermetically sealed cleaning fluid cartridge; giving technicians the portability they want and the fibre cleanliness they demand, all at the lowest cost per clean.
