Covestro polycarbonate for durable mobile device protection
Beam Mobile offers durable cases designed for the healthcare industry made with Covestro’s Makrolon polycarbonate, a material designed with chemical and impact resistance and durability in mind.
Beam Mobile offers the only case on the market utilising plastic that can hold up against hospital-grade cleaners and disinfectants. Additionally, Beam Mobile cases come with a swappable battery to extend battery life for long shifts without the need to take the device out of the case.
Healthcare workers need durable, mobile device cases that can withstand the rigours of daily use, including disinfection, while staying connected to electronic health record systems, secure texting platforms and soft scanning applications. However, many consumer-grade cases are not designed to withstand the disinfectants used to clean hospital surfaces.
