Innovate UK looking for the women driving business innovation

^{Innovate UK is looking for women who are rising stars in business innovation as part of its latest competition.} 

The Women in Innovation 2018 competition searches for aspiring women who have exciting, ambitious and inspiring plans that will make an impact towards one of the UK’s Industrial Strategy Grand Challenges: AI and Data, Healthy Ageing, Clean Growth, Future of Mobility.

The competition is open to female founders, co-founders or senior decision makers working in UK-based companies that have been operating for at least one year.

Eight awards will be available in the competition comprising of £50,000 funding per winner as well as mentoring, coaching and business support.

The competition is split into two phases. The first phase consists of a written application to be assessed by independent experts, whereas the second phase in an interview process with a panel of experts.

Applications open on 30 July and end on 3 October.
