Husky demonstrate new systems and medical plastics at K 2016

Leading industrial technology provider, Husky Injection Moulding, has demonstrated two complete, integrated closure systems at this year’s K Show.

The first system, the HyCap 4 system, has been designed for beverage closure manufacturing and has been drastically improved since its recent introduction. The system now includes more machine, mould and auxiliary integration features to offer increased productivity, energy efficiency and a simplified operator experience.

The company also demonstrated its new system solution for the manufacture of specialty closures, HyerSync. Steve Lawrynuik, president of Husky’s Medical and Specialty Packaging business said: “We are very excited about what the HyperSync platform will offer those customers looking for increased integration of machine and mould for unique applications. The name is really reflective of what the integration of machine and mould features can do, which is synchronise the machine and mould functions; extremely well and at impressively fast cycle times.”

The company is also showing off high-quality solutions for plastics medical applications, under its Schöttli brand. On display are a variety of parts for target medical applications, highlighting how Husky eliminates risk in the moulding process and ensures safer devices for end-users.
