Plastics distributor expands portfolio to include Celanese medical grades

Hamburg-based plastics distributor K.D. Feddersen has expanded its portfolio in Germany and Europe to include the Hostaform, Vectra, Celanex, Ateva and Fortron medical grade range from Celanese

In addition to Celanese's engineering polymers, which have been successfully distributed for decades and are mainly used in the automotive, E&E and industrial sectors, the distributor is now expanding its business to include the medical technology segment.

"With the expansion of our portfolio, we are pleased to further strengthen the good co-operation with our long-standing partner Celanese and to open up additional application segments for our customers," said Daniel Brock, director marketing & sales at K.D. Feddersen.

Apart from Hamburg, K.D. Feddersen and its subsidiaries are located in Birmingham (UK), Paris (France), Värnamo (Sweden), and Vienna (Austria).
