GW Plastics Mexico celebrates 10 year anniversary

Economic uncertainty fails to affect Vermont based manufacturing company

Precision injecting moulding company, GW Plastics has celebrated a 10 year anniversary of its facility in Querétaro, Mexico.

Despite economic uncertainty GW Querétaro managed to complete major expansions in various locations such as China, Vermont, Tuscan and Arizona in areas such as silicones and thermoplastics.

The 10-year anniversary follows on more success for GW’s Querétaro facility, which recently completed a major upgrade of its facility to accommodate additional room for expansion in a high-tech, climate- controlled contract manufacturing environment.

The facility currently houses 25 injection molding machines ranging from 50-660 tons. In addition to precision injection molding, the state-of-the-art facility offers its customers in-house tooling and assembly of finished products.

Brenan Riehl, GW Plastics’ president and chief executive officer, said: “We are proud of our growth during times of economic uncertainty throughout the past decade,” said Riehl. “Our success in Mexico has solidified us as a global plastics contract manufacturing partner of choice, and we are delighted to celebrate this anniversary with our employees and customers. We would like to extend our gratitude to all of our hardworking team members and loyal customers for helping us achieve this important milestone.”
