Government speaker confirms attendance at Industry 4.0 Summit

Industry 4.0 Summit -the UK’s first dedicated conference and exhibition to industry 4.0 – has announced that Lord Prior of Brampton will be speaking at the event to discuss the government’s strategy for the sector.

Industry 4.0 is often stated as the fourth industrial revolution and encompasses among other things, smart manufacturing and digital factories.

Industry 4.0 Summit aims to be the largest gathering of solution providers and technology buyers looking to get ready for the way in which manufacturing is changing.  

Lord Prior of Brampton is the parliamentary under secretary of state in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. He’s responsible for industrial strategy and industrial policy.

Alongside the Industry 4.0 Summit, is the Factories of the Future Expo is a 2-day exhibition showcasing 60 leading 4.0 technology and solutions providers.
