Five key medical plastics stands at Med-Tech Innovation Expo

We’ve highlighted some exhibitors that you might want to visit during this week's Med-Tech Innovation Expo.

Pentagon Plastics (Stand K18)

At this year’s show, Pentagon has launched its rebrand. Joining Pentagon with Phoenix Engineering 2009 following the acquisition of the latter in 2016.

As a result it will join together the technical plastic injection moulding and toolmaking services. Though the companies will retain separate trading names, they will operate under Pentagon Plastics Group.

Lohmann Adhesive Tape Systems (Stand F28)

The medical division of Lohmann Technologies has launched a new surgical tape at this year’s Expo – with its complete range also on display.

The new DuploMED SUR 624000 tape will be available from its Milton Keynes manufacturing base following the show.

Boddingtons (Stand E3)

Returning for its fourth year with its biggest stand yet, Boddington’s is showcasing its medical manufacturing services.

CEO Andy Tibbs presented the main features of the company, and addressed what it means to become the ‘finished article’ as a medtech manufacturing supplier during his talk.

Midas Pattern Company (Stand F10)

Midas is showcasing its polyurethane RIM mouldings.

With 30 years’ experience, Midas aims to turn CAD designs into reality for a fraction of the cost of other tooling processes.

Albis (Stand C9)

Albis is showcasing its distribution portfolio of plastics for the healthcare space.

The company introduced its Alcom Med compounds – its new brand for customised compound solutions for healthcare.
