Dublin network station and service centre launched by Peli BioThermal

Peli BioThermal, the temperature controlled packaging specialist has launched its new network station and service centre in Dublin, Ireland.

The official opening ceremony took place at the facility which will be dedicated to servicing, refurbishing, repairing and conditioning Peli BioThermal’s reusable Credo on Demand shippers.

The event was attended by leaders from global pharmaceutical companies, as well as airfreight and logistics businesses.

The new facility, which is located next to Dublin Airport, in Harristown, will aim to serve multiple biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. The facility will be focused on Peli BioThermal’s Credo on Demand programme which provides high performance, flexible rental options for temperature controlled containers such as Credo Cargo, Credo Xtreme passive bulk containers and Credo Cube.

This launch will help to ensure Peli BioThermal remain on track to achieve its plan to exceed 100 network stations and drop points for its rental programme in 2019.

Dublin was chosen as the location as Peli BioThermal believe the city to be a key hub of manufacturing and distribution for the pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, Ireland is home to some of the largest pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in the world including Lilly, Pfizer, Sanofi, Amgen, Allergan, Alexion, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck and Pramerica.
