DSM partners with Vention to produce coated catheters

DSM Biomedical has announced a partnership with Vention Medical to integrate the development, testing and application of DSM’s ComfortCoat coating into the catheter manufacturing process

DSM’s ComfortCoat coating helps device navigation and mitigates risks of acute trauma to the patient, according to the company.

As part of the collaboration DSM will work alongside Vention Medical’s to produce coated catheters from a single source.
