Dow Corning unveils silicone elastomers portfolio

Dow Corning is showcasing an expanded portfolio of silicone elastomers at Compamed this week

The company is offering Shore A hardnesses of 40, 50, and 70 in its Silastic Q7-78XX BioMedical grade liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and its Dow Corning C6-7XX LSR.

The expanded portfolio also encompasses the recently launched Dow Corning QP1-2XX LSR product line.

The company’s new portfolio combines products from its biomedical-grade, high-consistency rubber and liquid silicone elastomer families.

Pennadam Sivanand, application engineer for Dow Corning’s healthcare solutions, will discuss ‘The role of chemistry vs. application’ in a presentation during Compamed’s supplier forum on Thursday 19 November in hall B stand G40.

Dow Corning is also showcasing its range of materials solutions for healthcare, including its range of pressure sensitive adhesives that target medical device attachments and wearable technology at Compamed on stand M27 in hall 8a.
