BioCity boot camp launches at Alderley Park

The first stage of the BioCity business accelerator programme has been launched at Alderley Park by business incubator BioCity.

The programme features three distinct stages, designed to support all parts of a business venture.

The first stage, Spark, is for those who have a business idea, no matter how developed. The programme is suited to those who only have a spark of an idea they wish to evaluate, through to fully formed companies.

The Spark stage will consist of a two and a half day boot camp suitable for anyone wishing to learn the tools and techniques to explore their own life science start-up business idea, or to stress test their current company product, services, and business model.

The aim of the boot camp to help create products or services that match the needs of customers.

It is the first step in a series of business support programmes that BioCity runs at the BioHub for pre-start and start-up businesses in the life science arena.

The BioCity business accelerator will feature two other stages titled Develop and Launch. Winners of the accelerator will enjoy free accommodation and one-to-one coaching at a BioCity campus with investment available for the most promising opportunities.
