Bespak launches new auto-injector for viscous drug delivery

Drug delivery partner Bespak has launched its new auto-injector, the Syrina AR 2.25.

The device is the latest addition to Bespak’s Syrina range of auto-injectors and is suitable for delivering viscous drug formulations by using a standard 2.25ml pre-filled syringes.  

The new device uses Bespak’s proprietary compact energy source, VapourSoft. Syrina AR 2.25 can deliver 2ml of viscous drug solutions in less than 15 seconds. The device offers automatic needle insertion and retraction and has been tailored for higher viscosities while still enabling the safe use of glass syringes.
