Avantor’s NuSil to host Designing with Silicone seminar
Global manufacturer Avantor’s brand, NuSil is set to host Designing with Silicone. This seminar will aim to explore the capabilities of silicone, and look at how the material could help solve common design challenges and thus enable innovation.
The seminar also plans to educate medical device designers on the versatility and practical applications of silicone and discuss how the material can enhance attendee’s device designs. Advantages of using silicones in applications, as well as basic formulation and chemical characteristics will also be discussed.
NuSil employees will explain the processing methods used to achieve desired design and functionality of devices, and the seminar will close with an insight into the future of silicones within the medical device design field.
