Crayford based Apex Medical, a producer of in pressure area care therapy made a matress donation to homeless charity, Crisis

84 Apex static foam mattresses were donated to the Crisis charity’s “Crisis at Christmas” campaign, which helps homeless people in need over the festive period

Each year Crisis converts buildings across the UK to house homeless people over the Christmas and New Year period, providing them with shelter, hot meals, health checks and entertainment.

Nicola Rodker, managing director, Apex Medical said: “It’s really easy for us to take things like a warm bed to sleep on at Christmas for granted but for some this is a luxury.

“We understand that more and more people in the UK need that extra helping hand and we admire the work that Crisis does all year round, especially during the festive period.

“As one of the UK’s biggest providers of static foam mattress, we’re delighted to be able to offer Crisis this donation and we hope that they will help to bring comfort to those in need this Christmas.”
