3D Medical Conference set to highlight the latest medical tech innovations

The 3D Medical Conference is set to take place from 30-31 January and will cover a range of health tech topics showcasing the latest medical innovations.

Taking place at the MECC Maastricht in the Netherlands, the event will cater to a mix of academics, medical professionals and business experts and offers an overview into the most recent medical technology developments.

The event includes two conferences focused on 3D printing and health tech and an expo with companies involved biomedical, dental and medicine 3D printing.   

The 3D Medical Conference includes programmes that offer insight into the current status of having human tissue printed on demand, custom-made 3D printed dental implants, biofabrication of 3D in vitro models and more.

The event also focuses on 3D printing for the medical and pharma sectors with sessions on the technology’s use in medtech, the orthopaedic implants space and models for surgery pre-planning.

The event includes 35 speakers and an exhibition space for attendees to see examples of the innovative technologies discussed during the conferences.

The Health Tech Event, which takes place on the show’s second day will showcase a live demo of exoskeletons, and tackle topics such as augmented reality in healthcare, drones in healthcare, social robots and surgical robots.
