IME's manufacturing event, featuring co-located shows Medical Design and Manufacturing (MD&M) West, WestPack, Automation Technology (ATX) West, Design and Manufacturing (D&M) West, and Plastec West, has announced its two keynotes for the event at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Microsoft Global head of Autonomous AI co-innovation Brian Evergreen and Gatherverse founder Christopher Lafayette, will headline the five-in-one manufacturing show with specialised sessions on how to utilise today’s cutting-edge technology to further industry-specific innovations within manufacturing and automation.
“We look to provide the best expertise and industry insight within manufacturing tech that fuels thought-provoking discussions within the industry,” says Adrienne Zepeda, group event director. “Thought leaders like Lafayette and Evergreen are shaping the future and their perspective will showcase how ever-evolving technologies continue to propel what is to come in medical advancements, artificial intelligence, automation, and other adjacent innovations.”
Lafayette’s keynote, Medical Technology within the Metaverse - The Fundamental Shift, takes place on 7th February at 9 a.m. The session will highlight how immersive medical technology is developing through the metaverse. Lafayette will review how this impacts businesses, technologists and medical practitioners and what to expect within the medtech community.
On 8th February at 9 a.m., Evergreen’s presentation, Clearing the Digital Fog: The First Step of Autonomous Transformation, will highlight the challenges leaders have faced in attempting to harness artificial intelligence and its adjacent technologies for the betterment of their organisation and the world, and how organisations can begin to overcome these challenges in the era of “Autonomous Transformation.”
“I am honoured at the opportunity to share about Autonomous Transformation with manufacturing leaders,” said Evergreen. “Given the physical nature of manufacturing and its roots in human creativity backed by labour and automation, the manufacturing base presents rich potential for creating a more human future with technology.”
