Supplier of packaging materials for the medical device industry, Tekni-Films, are displaying its latest developments at this year’s MD&M West.

The show, which begins today, sees Tekni-Films displaying and discussing several of its latest products. These include its copolyester film series, its ultra-high barrier PVDC coating and a wide variety of other multilayer packaging structures.
Tekni-Films’ copolyester film series provides a cost effective alternative to PETG for thermoformed medical tray packaging, the company states. Tekni-Films will also be demonstrating a laminated alternative to PVC for thermoformed pharmaceutical blister applications.
The company’s ultra-high barrier coating and other multilayer packaging structures deliver stringent water vapour barrier properties which are needed to protect pharmaceutical and medical device products.
The company are sharing a booth with medical-grade compounder Colorite, also a Tekni-Plex company.
