Smithers issued a statement announcing the postponement of the Extractables and Leachables Conference which was scheduled for April this year.
The event was originally planned to take place from 20th -22nd April, 2020 in Bethesda, Maryland.
The statement explained: “The safety and comfort of our customers, partners, and staff remains our number one priority.
“Our team has been working diligently to maintain the integrity of this event in the midst of the disruption caused by COVID-19, and in light of recent travel restrictions and current CDC recommendations, we have made the decision to postpone this event to later in the year.”
The organisers hope to announce new conference dates in the near future.
