The leading advanced design and manufacturing event, featuring Medical Design and Manufacturing (MD&M) West, WestPack, Automation Technology (ATX) West, Design and Manufacturing (D&M) West, and Plastec West has announced registration is live for attendees and press.
The event will take place 7-9 February 2023, at the Anaheim Convention Center, housing all five expo brands for guests and exhibitors to connect with every facet of the manufacturing industry.
“By showcasing the latest and greatest the manufacturing industry has to offer from design, to prototyping, packaging, and assembly robotics to automation across various industries of innovation such as medical to cannabis, the west based manufacturing event is the premier meeting place to connect across the constantly evolving manufacturing markets,” says Adrienne Zepeda, group event director. “Focusing our event on five key industries under the manufacturing umbrella will offer an endless range of products and education from global powerhouse brands that inspire collective innovation and growth.”
According to the Institute for Supply Management, economic activity in the manufacturing sector grew for the 28th consecutive month in September, registering at 50.9%. The smart manufacturing sector is poised to reach nearly $590 billion by 2028 as automation and advanced technology propel the marketplace, furthering the need for face-to-face interaction.
Last year’s show hosted more than 1,400 exhibitors on the expo floor and registered participants had the opportunity to engage with 145 expert-led sessions throughout the three-day event. Continuing this year, the Smart Event format will be available and serve as a tool before, during and post-show, allowing registrants to connect with exhibitors and attendees for networking opportunities.
Zepeda continues: “It is critical to stress how much this trade show has evolved since returning to live spaces. With the addition of the Smart Event format, we have taken measures to further enhance and expand the possibilities for in-person engagement and as well as further extend our event remotely to those who cannot attend the show in-person.”
Registrants can download the Smart Event platform where they can exclusively network pre-event and post-show with attending guests, brands, exhibitors and press. With the smart event, planning the West experience ahead allows registrants to add sessions to their agenda, the opportunity to schedule meetings, connect through direct message, and research suppliers and vendors who will be on-site. The digital platform also provides more visibility to brands, as attendees can see shared logos, headshots, bios, descriptions and more.
By registering for one of the most diverse manufacturing events in the US, attendees will have the opportunity to network with exhibitors and speakers across the advanced design and manufacturing industry in three action-packed days. With nearly 1,500 exhibitors slated to showcase their latest innovations and designs, with increasing interest in attendance, the event will showcase innovations from brands such as 3M, B. Braun, Confluent, Teleflex Medical OEM, Zeus, Canon Virginia, FANUC, Protolabs and more.
