Plastics manufacturer Nolato Contour has announced it is expanding its facility in Wisconsin with a $17.9 million investment which is expected to create 62 jobs.

Expansion
The facility, which is based in St. Croix County, will have an addition 27,000 square feet added to it to make room for an additional two clean rooms, as well as space for material handling and warehousing needs.
The expansion is supported by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), which is authorising $250,000 in state income tax credits over the next three years. Nolato will receive a certain amount of tax credits depending on how many jobs it created along with the amount of invested capital.
Besides the 62 jobs the project is expected to create, it’s also hoped that an additional 38 jobs could be generated in the region. The construction of the site could also support another 76 jobs.
Governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, said: “Nolato Contour is a global leader in manufacturing plastics, and we applaud the company for its continued investment and commitment to the State of Wisconsin. This growth is great news for the entire region, and the expansion will position the company for future success right here in Wisconsin. This is another example of a Wisconsin business that has chosen to grow in our state because of our outstanding business climate and dedicated workforce.”
William Rubin, executive director of the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation said: “A fundamental economic development strategy involves the retention and expansion of existing business and industry. Nolato Contour is a strong corporate partner in Baldwin, in St. Croix County and across west central Wisconsin. We are delighted Nolato worked with state and local resources to ensure this major investment occurred in Baldwin.”
