The 16th Medtec China event will take place from 14th-16th September 2020 at SWEECC.
Since May, the public health emergency response level in most areas of China has been lowered to level 3, and according to the latest guidelines for regular epidemic prevention and control released by the State Council and local governments, indoor venues like museums and libraries will be reopened, and likewise, the “restart button” for conferences and exhibitions is officially pressed.
More than 500 high-quality brand suppliers from 27 countries and regions, ranging across the entire high-end medical device manufacturing industry chain, are anticipated to attend the trade show. There will be a total of 21 categories of industry exhibits and services, including design, raw materials, precision parts, manufacturing equipment, processing technology, contract customisation, testing and certification, policies and regulations, and market consulting required for product development, production, and registration.
This year many companies will be exhibiting at the show for the first time. These include, Access Laser (Shenzhen), Changzhou Fuji Seiki, Tianjin Level Vacuum Drying Equipment Manufacturing, Vitalo Packaging (Suzhou), Tecan (Shanghai) Trading, MoreTek New Material Technology (Suzhou), YW MEMS (Suzhou), and Toradex (China).
At least 30,000 professional visitors are also expected. These will consist of designers, researchers, procurement managers, and quality management engineers from medical device companies.
Safety measures to be implemented as a result of Covid-19 pandemic
Medtec China will establish an epidemic prevention and control working mechanism and a strict on-site work plan in accordance with the requirements of relevant departments of Pudong New Area and Shanghai.
Measures set to be implemented include real-name pre-registration, temperature measurement, checking "health codes,” and scanning valid certificates before admission into the venue, duly extending the exhibition time, and applying a dispersed layout in popular exhibition areas. Additionally, sufficient masks, disinfectant, and other materials will be prepared in advance.
