Medilink East Midlands will be hosting an Infectious Diseases Special Interest Group to cover ‘Infection control of biofilms: new perspectives on tackling a persistent problem’.
The event, taking place on the morning of 12 March at Winstanley House in Leicester, will cover specific topics including:
- Communicating with biofilms to improve removal
- Biofilm and its effect on Vascular Access Devices
- Commercialisation of an anti-biofil, polymer coating
During the event, there will be opportunities available to present during the collaboration forum. The presentation slots are available for SMEs to share their technologies, products and services to the audience.
The event is behind held as part of the SoLSTICE programme – a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
