Provider of materials for life sciences, Dow Medical Solutions, is set to debut two new products at MD&M West this year.

The company will exhibit two new liquid silicone rubber (LSR) technologies to support a broader range of rigid plastic substrates for over-moulding applications.
Dow state that the new elastomeric products give designers and manufacturers greater options for creating differentiated devices with improved safety and durability.
The two grades include a low-temperature cure (LTC) LSR and a self-adhesive LTC LSR. The grades can be overmoulded thanks to specialised formulations – using two-component injection moulding or insert moulding – onto heat-sensitive materials.
The company also say that the new LSRs can help optimise processing versus more tradition materials.
Dow experts will be on hand in Hall D, Booth #2021 at MD&M West 2018 from Feb. 6-8 in Anaheim, Calif., to share insights on current product offerings and overarching industry trends in the medical industry.
