He joins a dedicated team of employee-owners poised to embrace transformative technologies and expand digital manufacturing.
“Alex’s unique skillset aligns perfectly with the company’s vision and growth initiatives,” says Rob Kieval, chairman of the board at DPI. “We are confident he is the visionary leader needed to usher us into a new era as an economy powerhouse company defined by digital agility and customer-centricity.”
Danzberger has a track record of establishing strategic partnerships, integrating new technologies, cultivating operational efficiencies, and driving profitable growth. He has held executive positions in a variety of public and private companies. Prior to joining DPI, Danzberger was the vice president of Finance and Administration for Kinetic Data, a workflow automation application company in Minneapolis. He also served as vice president of Corporate Development at Capella Education Company, an online-only university in Minneapolis. Additionally, Danzberger held the position of vice president of Corporate Development and Operations for Digital River in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. A trained Six Sigma Greenbelt, Danzberger has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.
Along with Danzberger’s promotion, Rodd Joos, formerly vice president of operations, was promoted to the position of chief operating officer.
“DPI’s commitment to innovation and its dedicated teams in Minnesota and California are the perfect foundation for this exciting transformation,” says Danzberger. “In collaboration with our leadership team, including Rodd Joos and Tom Venable, chief commercial officer, we will leverage groundbreaking technologies to redefine contract manufacturing, exceeding customer expectations and establishing DPI as a leader in the digital manufacturing age.”
