Dinsmore, an ADDMAN Group company, has been promoted to be a HP Digital Manufacturing Partner.
Dinsmore
This distinction highlights Dinsmore's dedication to providing solutions, with a focus on growth in the medical sector. In this endeavour, the company is set to leverage its new HP Jet Fusion 5420W solution, equipped with medical-grade nylon 12, to further expand its presence in this segment.
The catalyst for this collaboration was Dinsmore's early adoption and participation in HP's 18- month beta program for the HP Jet Fusion 5420W solution. Jay Dinsmore, executive vice president, states “Dinsmore's role in HP's development program was crucial for developing medical-grade white nylon, a key market advantage for the machine. In addition to printing benchmark parts, our team offered valuable customer feedback, aiding HP's technology refinement."
“Dinsmore has demonstrated the ability to strategically grow its additive business and develop game changing applications that will help disrupt markets,” said Greg Elfering, head of Americas Go-to-Market for HP’s Personalization and 3D Printing business. “The Dinsmore team has earned this notable distinction as a HP Digital Manufacturing Partner. They have the expertise and capabilities needed to meet the growing demand for 3D printed production parts in the medical sector and other industries.” Previously a member of the HP Digital Manufacturing Network (DMN), this invitation-only certification positions Dinsmore globally as one of the premiere providers of best-in-class Multi Jet Fusion part quality and manufacturing expertise. HP DMN members awarded with the HP Digital Manufacturing Partner distinction are certified by HP with a rigorous evaluation and onsite assessment.
Using HP’s Jet Fusion 5420W, Dinsmore is offering medical-grade white nylon to customers, setting a new standard for excellence in the field. Greg Pilon, chief revenue officer of Dinsmore’s parent organisation, ADDMAN, expressed the importance of this work, emphasising the potential for accelerated growth in the US polymer 3D printing market, particularly in the medical sector.
"Our ability to deliver high-quality applications for our customers as Digital Manufacturing Partner in HP’s Digital Manufacturing Network is a significant milestone for us. This collaboration will help us accelerate our growth in the US polymer additive space. We are confident in our ability to penetrate the medical sector and deliver on our commitment to expand and support in this arena. We are excited about the possibilities working with HP opens and the positive impact it will have on our future success." says Pilon.
The HP Digital Manufacturing Network is a prestigious certification program, recognising excellence in quality and innovation. Inclusion in this network reflects its commitment to delivering top-tier 3D printing solutions.
The ADDMAN Group ecosystem has experienced substantial growth over the past three years, both through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. Dinsmore was ADDMAN’s most recent acquisition, and directly followed that of HARBEC, a comprehensive manufacturing facility in Rochester, New York, offering AM, CNC, and injection moulding capabilities.
