Specialty chemical company, Clariant, has announced it will exhibit at Pharmapack Europe this year.

Clariant will be exhibiting its new technology to pharmaceutical and medical professionals to add value and functionality to drug packaging and delivery services.
The company will be featuring three new options for polymer colouration, modification and brand protection.
Included among Clariant’s exhibit is a new series of ‘Controlled, Consistent and Compliant’ Mevopur Liquid colour and additive concentrates. This includes USP/ISO range with amber colour for PET and PETG packaging, and liquid colour and additive concentrates for use in liquid silicone elastomers.
The company will also be demonstrating its increased capacity for producing Mevopur colour and additive compounds along with its well-established masterbatch concentrates.
In an effort to stem counterfeiting, Clariant will show off Plastiward, an end-to-end counterfeiting solution which includes, security assessment, system design, deployment and on-going monitoring.
Clariant’s buniness line, Healthcare Packaging will also highlight two offerings in controlled atmosphere packaging.
These include specially engineered sorbent products, that can act as humectants (desorbers) and desiccants (adsorbers) simultaneously, maintaining a particular equilibrium relative humidity (ERH) inside product packaging.
The show will be held at the Paris expo Port de Versailles on 1-2 February.
