3M has announced that the company will be manufacturing an authorised generic version of Proventil HydroFluoroAlkane (HFA) in the United States.
Inhaler
The drug within the inhaler is albuterol sulfate, and the aim of manufacturing this generic version is to provide patients with the option of lower medication costs.
Par Pharmaceutical (Par), an operating company of Endo International will be distributing the inhalation aerosol, and the product will be manufactured by 3M Drug Delivery Systems (DDS).
