To help provide insights into adhesives, coatings, sealants and the equipment needed to process them, Intertronics presents its JoinedUpMinute series of videos on technology subjects relating to all aspects of industrial bonding.

The series, available via YouTube and Intertronics’ website, provide basic and accessible introductions to the topics in 60 seconds. A new video is released every Monday.
With four videos released so far, covering how to mix a twinpack, what plasma treatment does to a surface, how to specify a dispensing robot, and how room temperature vulcanising (RTV) silicones cure, the series provides short insights into practical aspects of bonding in manufacturing applications.
“Our JoinedUpMinute videos give people involved in our industry a way of getting initial insight into some technology pertinent to their job,” explained Kevin Brownsill, Head of Learning and Development at Intertronics. “If they need to explore further, we are here to help with the knowledge they need to achieve a successful application. Helping customers solve their challenges is at the heart of what we do, and these videos provide us with another way to connect. We have been told by customers that we “accelerate their learning curve”, which we are very proud of. As well as talking to our team, further reading on the subjects is also available on our website where you can access learning materials like white papers and technical guides.”
JoinedUpMinute videos are presented by a mix of Intertronics’ technical experts, so they give customers a chance to put faces to names and better connect with the people behind the advice. With a new video released every Monday, viewers are invited to submit requests on what topics the team should cover that can help address any questions they have. Upcoming topics include an explainer on wetting and addressing reasons behind a tacky UV cured adhesive.
The Intertronics JoinedUpMinute series is available via a playlist on the company’s YouTube channel, and can be accessed via Intertronics’ website and social media channels. Make sure you don’t miss the next JoinedUpMinute by subscribing to its YouTube channel.
