This seems to be the conference when it comes to innovation and design within the manufacturing field,” said Wozniak. “During my session on June 13th, I look forward to offering insight into emerging trends in technology and how those may impact design and manufacturing.”
Wozniak first began his career in 1976 alongside Steve Jobs when they founded Apple with Wozniak’s Apple I computer. Since then Wozniak has been recognised as a silicon valley icon and philanthropist and has focused on computer capabilities in schools and encouraging hands-on learning. Nina Brown, vice president, events UBM said: “It is an honour to have the prestigious thinker and innovator Steve Wozniak headlining our New York event as the Keynote Speaker. 2017 continues to be a strong year for education and content at UBM’s Advanced Design and Manufacturing shows that began with TV personality Jamie Hyneman and automotive industry visionary JB Straubel earlier this year. We look forward to continuing this trend throughout 2017 with the exciting addition of Wozniak to the lineup."
