Phillips-Medisize has announced that it will acquire contract manufacturer Injectronics, further fuelling its US growth.
Injectronics provides contract engineering and manufacturing services to consumable diagnostics and medical device customers.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition means that Phillips-Medisize will add two manufacturing locations in the Northeastern United States, a global center of biopharmaceutical and medical device innovation.
The current management team will join Phillips-Medisize and continue to oversee Injectronics’ Massachusetts locations, which will continue to serve existing customers.

The waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act has expired, and the transaction is expected to close in early July.
