Contract analytical services Wickham Laboratories has announced an extension of its medical device testing services.

The company has extended its testing capabilities for medical devices as a response in client demands for a complete service package. Wickham Laboratories is now offering tests that include the full ISO 10993 / USP 87 & 88 suite. This is in addition to the lab’s routine sterility and bioburden service offering.
The company state that ‘through this expansion and via collaboration with our approved partners, we hope to provide our clients with a wide range of medical devices biocompatibility testing and safety testing.’
Medical device testing is one of the most complex services offered in the life sciences sector, due to the diversity of the tested products and the different level of safety biocompatibility required prior to approval for patient use.
